What you’re getting
One whole Cornish Cross chicken, 5 to 7 lb and frozen. Neck’s included, no giblets. One of these fed six people at my table.

How we raise them
Cornish Cross are heavy birds, and wet ground isn’t good for them, so ours live in coops set just above the pasture. They’re in the Florida sun all day but stay dry and safe from predators. They eat certified organic, non-GMO feed, and we process every bird right here on the farm. We don’t spray anything on our farm, organic or synthetic. That’s what Beyond Organic means to us.

How to cook it
Roast it or air-fry it whole, smoke it, or spatchcock it and put it on the grill. Save the bones, because they make great broth.

• Meet-ups have a small order minimum, since I’m driving out.
